INFORMATION REGARDING THE POSTERITY OF ENVELOPS CREATED

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! We appreciate your question and assure you that we are fully committed to providing you with the best service possible. 

By default, Docusign retains completed envelopes and their associated documents indefinitely, so you can generally keep all the envelopes you create. However, if your account administrator has configured a document retention policy or performs a targeted purge, envelopes may be automatically or manually removed based on those settings.
If you're part of an organization or enterprise account, we recommend you check with your Docusign administrator to see if any retention or purge policies are currently in place for your account.

Thank you so much for addressing my query/concern, it is appreciated.  One follow-up question: if there is a spatial concern and items are deleted on my side, am I able to request certain envelops that may be needed in the future.

By default, Docusign retains production envelopes indefinitely unless a Document Retention policy is configured or the envelopes/documents are manually purged. If you delete an envelope from your account, recovery options depend on how it was removed.
If the envelope has been permanently purged through Document Retention or Targeted Purge, it cannot be recovered. Therefore, if you anticipate needing certain envelopes in the future, we recommend downloading and securely storing copies before deleting or purging them.
